Growing up as a kid, I spent a lot of time in my family’s seed and fertilizer business. I learned to recognize hundreds of seeds which came in handy while I was working at NASA where I designed and flew a seed-germination platform on a space shuttle flight.

Agriculture, food, and innovation are my lifelong passions.

I have been to a farm or a food production facility at every state and country I have visited. 

IMHO, the Berkeley Bowl Marketplace is the #1 attraction in the Bay Area easily beating the Golden Gate Bridge and Lombard Street.
